The Organisation Rapidly expanding Custom Audio Visual Installation company specialising in the high end residential market, working with high profile clients. The Company are CEDIA members working to the highest industry standards on a broad range of exciting projects, employing the latest high-spec technologies for modern homes. The company offers expertise in multi-room sound & vision, home security systems, home cinema and intelligent lighting.
The Opportunity As a custom AV integration engineer, you will perform hands-on installation of a wide range of integrated multi-room audio visual equipment, lighting control systems, home cinema systems and home IT networks into exclusive residential properties in the UK, mostly in London and the South of England. You will also be required to build and install custom racks and structured cabling systems. To successfully deliver on each project, you will need to use problem solving and fault finding skills. You will work within a team of professional AV and IT experts, delivering Custom Install solutions to CEDIA standards. The role is client facing and will require you to work closely with customers and other professionals to achieve the desired results. There are excellent opportunities for career progression in the long term, and to keep up to date with the cutting edge of home AV and home automation technology, whilst working on unique and exciting projects.
Your Skills, Qualities and Achievements Must be a proven audio visual engineer with experience installing, commissioning and servicing high end home cinema and multi-room AV systems. You will need technical expertise in some or all of the following: Multiroom TV/ AV systems: Living Control, Speakercraft, Sonos, Yamaha, Denon; Home Cinema: Pioneer and Panasonic systems; Structured Cabling and rack building; Lighting control: Rako and Lutron; Home networks/ home office. Personal attributes should include being a team player who is highly organised, will take responsibility for delivering customer satisfaction and come up with creative solutions to difficult problems. A full UK driving license is essential. CEDIA accreditation would be an advantage.
